A Greenville County Memorial Day Observation was held at 10 a.m. May 25. The event, moved inside, included a Revolutionary War Patriots dedication.
The guest speakers: Historian Durant Ashmore and others to include federal, state and local officials. A wreath ceremony was scheduled by DAR, Behethland Butler Chapter.
The observation was sponsored by Greenville County Veterans Affairs, Sons of the American Revolution, Upcountry History Museum of Greenville County and Greenville County.
